There is a challenge to the lands of Morin. Seems that the Prichards are coming to claim the land that belongs to the Lady Raelin. Boy are they in for a surprise when the Queen herself hears about the murder plot against the lady.
Lady Raelin in the meantime has found a certain knight had taken an arrow for her and now is in the process of healing. Several conversations take place and the knight for protection of the Lady asks her guardian for her hand. Will the Lady accept it or will she continue to hide.
In efforts to keep the newly returned Princess Rowena from drifting back to the Tor, the Queen Mum and her husband decide to entice Rowena to stay with a remake of her rooms. A complete makeover is in store for this little girl’s room as she no longer has to stay in the nursery
Murmurs in the halls of the castle state that the king’s younger brother has an infatuation with the King’s Healer Diora. The news got all the way to the crown and there was a heated debate between brothers. So much word got around that Diora’s friend Mathius asked her to get away and instead, Diora ran for herself and now a “rescue” party is in pursuit of the missing Healer.
Bitter jealousy and hatred can be found when one mentions Alterian’s name to Sir Gwynne Hawley. Apparently this man has taken the one thing that has kept this man sane for years. Alterian’s daughter. Hawley now only wishes to aide the king and in doing so, he goes along with Mathius ap Cornelius to hunt after the Raven. Lady Morgan. Will they succeed??
Along with the hunt for Morgan, it seems the one the Lady is after is trying to protect the family she loves. Rowena talked her brother Brendan into going out and finding a “trinket” that would help aide the King in whatever it was needed. Apparently they find what they are looking for and on the way back to Alban, Brendan entertains himself with a new friend by the name of Jessamyn ui Thamion.
Strange run in with a supposed Sanglet. Lord Iowerth had an interesting conversation with a madman who seemed to be in his own little world. Sources indicate that he is indeed one Davydd Sanglet and all he talked about was to protect the lands that were his own.
Rumor Mill
Sordid love affair between the King’s healer and her long time friend as she grieves for the man she loved. Could it be true? Two men are in love with the healer and would fight over her heart. Does she even know where her own heart lies??
Princess Bronwyn starving herself and the child she carries as she grieves for her husband. One solution brought forth; to send Bronwyn to her childhood home for her to end the bereavement and once again to resume her normal life as she had seen it…but will Bronwyn ever be the same?
Sir Gwynne found drunk in the streets. Rumor has it that there is a marriage proposal in the works and he doesn’t even know about it because of the numerous bottles of rum that are found in his room and in the taverns. Will this work or will Gwynne drink himself to death?
Rumor has it that the King’s healer is no longer in the castle and she is due to deliver not one child but twins. Will they find her in time to bring her back to the castle safely or will she deliver before ever returning? No one knows why she ran but a few speculate that she is caught in the midst of a battle between brothers and a long time friend.
Never stop dreaming, for it's your dreams that keep you young. Even in this world where life is hectic, just take a moment and dream.
