Background:
Rowena is the youngest daughter of Lord Iorwerth ap Greidawl and Lady Isa. Rowena has had the benefit of spoiling by her brothers and sisters. She is the apple of her parents eyes and she knows it. However, with her benefit of her mother's training, she had retained a sweet and loving demeanor. Being a smart child, she has learned to get her way through gentle smiles, teasing comments and well timed requests.
The one trait her mother is still working on is Rowena's tremendous curiousity and penchance for unladylike behavior. Just recently, she had caught Rowena in the creek with village lads fishing with her hands. Her dress had been tied high up on her thighs and she was wet and dirty. Before that, her mother had caught her in the stables pretending to be a great knight. Rowena had even fashioned a sword from a farm handle. Being a very energetic child, getting her to sit still for lessons in sewing and embroidery was a trying task. Lady Isa could tell that her youngest daughter's thoughts were on some new grand adventure she was planning.
Personality Profile:
Rowena is a curious and intelligent child. She is extremely loving and has a huge heart for those with misfortune. She has a knack for knowing when someone, family or servant, needs a kind word. She is also very imaginative and energetic, which sometimes leads her into trouble. She dreams of growing up and being Queen of all the land and at the same time, hopping on a horse to slay her father's enemies. In her eyes, there is no conflict.
Physical Profile:
Rowena has an angelic appearance that often hides her youthful penchance for mischief. She is golden blonde hair that curls easily into ringlets and the deepest blue eyes. Being only nine, she has yet to develop but if she continues as she is now, she should be a beautiful young lady someday.
Skills and Abilities:
Rowena is a very good horsewoman for her age. She prefers to ride bareback if she can get away with it. She also has become very good at catching fish and crawdads from the small streams around her home. She is good with a sling and practices with her older brother whenever she can. She can sew and embroider well, but prefers not to.
