Background:
Born the daughter of Cedric and Gwynefar, the rulers of the county of Idelmere. She was always a very sporting girl as a child who did not like to be locked up in her father’s castle like many daughters she had so often heard about. She had a fire in her heart that could not be put out or fully understood by anyone around her. Nedea did not openly oppose her parents’ wishes for her to be lady like and stop her nonsense dreams about riding off as a knight to slay dragons. She did however in secret spend a lot of time watching her father’s men at arms train dreaming of a life as a knight.

When Nedea turned fourteen she had already learned to how to act like a lady, sew, sing, read and write as well as learning all about running a family estate from taxes to decision making. By far her tutoring in the feminine arts had come to an end for there was nothing else she needed to learn. Though she was only young, Nedea knew that her parents would begin looking for a suitor for her to marry when she reached the age of sixteen.

During the summer she traveled to her father’s estate near the port town on his lands where she planned to learn some things Nedea knew would make her parents angry, so she did so in secret. Borrowing armor from her father’s men at arms she disguised herself as a new recruit using a helmet to hide her well known face. For the duration of the summer, Nedea had intended to train with the men at arms but the arrival of her mother prompted her to move between identities very quickly. Keeping her secret right through, Nedea’s training ended when she went back to the castle. She spent a long winter being a lady instead of the person she so desperately wanted to be.

Her chance came again in spring when her parents left for Cymarlod on family business leaving a close and trusted friend in charge. Pleading with Sir Galadyn to continue her training, she was met by constant disappointment as the knight refused to go behind the backs of her parents. Eventually however he gave in and taught Nedea how to ride and fight with a sword, spear and bow. When the time came for him to leave he promised to return and take her on as his squire. The promise was never kept as Galadyn died at the hands of a group of bandits. Another summer came and Nedea now fifteen spent more time at her father’s estate. This time it was on her own without any visits from her parents where she met a young man who claimed to be training to be a ranger, Navarre. They formed a good friendship as two people who were trying achieving their destinies. With summer drawing to a close, Nedea proclaimed herself a squire without a master and would train herself to be a knight until the day she could find a lord who would knight her.

Personality Profile:
Easily described as adventurous. Nedea is like a beautiful flower that is not given the chance to fully blossom. Not precisely rough and tough, she however is not fully lady like either. Having kept secrets all her life she can be both lady like and tomboy with little effort. Her upbringing is one of luxury and wealth so she is yet to experience what it is really like in the environment.

Physical Profile: Young and slender, Nedea has worked very hard to keep her body looking like a lady of the court hiding the fitness and slightly toned muscles she has earned from her secretive training. Short with long blonde hair that is commonly tied back and blue eyes, her skin as maintained a natural radiant beauty.
