Background:
Born under a blood moon, Mari was gifted with the power of healing. This did not bode well for being the only daughter of the Chieftain of Kilkenny. He at once held off his chief druid in hopes to teach his daughter another craft all together. His hopes were in vain. For in her, no matter what she hurt, she automatically set about healing.

The chief druid finally had her way when Mari was 10. There wasn't much left to teach the girl that the girl hadn't already known. Though with many sicknesses and wars, she was able to hone her skills. Yet, there was little more that she could do by the time she was 17. She had become the land's chief healer and her father wanted more of her. So, at the behest of his brother, Graeynor ap Kelthyn, Lienthaw sent Mariac to her cousin upon the eve of her wedding.

Upon the lands of Kilkenny, came the tithe of the healer. She is all that remains of the clan in which the lands give title too. The rest of the clan melded into Graeynor's clan. This was to set up any future menace to know that she is beholden to her kinsman, Gwynne Hawley. Through talents of her own, she has made a name for herself and became the personal healer to the king after the Wars of the West (against Nethbo and Aberstywth).

Personality Profile:
She is a tough woman who knows how to protect the weak and the sick. She would not hesitate to defend her own self. Her words usually cut through any haze and have the bluntness that could dull even the sharpest wit. She can take on any patient, no matter how stubborn or horrible and still be able to get them to love her in the end for the gift that she shares with them.

Physical Profile: Long red hair doesn't hide from her fiery personality but gives enflames it even more. Her crystal blue eyes have a fire of their own and an intelligence that shows mastery of plants and herbs beyond the 17 years of her own life.

Skills and Abilities:
She is a multi-talented priestess. She was born of her barbarian clan so she knows how to weild a long sword and bow just as well as any other of her clansmen but she has a gentle touch and voice when needed to heal. Her eyes read right through any story and her wisdom shows behind her beautifully youthful gaze.
