Background:
The youngest daughter of Albrecht and Alora a minor noble from the lands of Frevyaon in the fear east of Abertawe, she was brought up in a strict typical environment for a young woman whose life was meant to revolve around those of many ladies of the court, marrying a noble young man and raising a family. Her childhood was one of tutelage by a scholar hired by her father to educate his daughter so she would at least be more intelligent than most woman of the court.

She learned logic, reading, writing, history and mathematics. Jayna received some of the best education someone of her family's status could afford. However for her it wasn't enough and she wanted to see the lands that she had heard of in the tales during her young childhood. Though reluctant at first her father allowed his thirteen year old daughter to travel with the scholar by boat to Torsula so she could have one minor adventure before he arranged her marriage to a neighbouring earl.

The trip had ended in disaster for almost everyone. Having been caught in a storm it was overturned and wrecked upon rocks with many survivors being preyed upon by those who waited for ships to crash so they could loot them. Jayna washed up on shore having jumped overboard before the ship met its fate upon the rocks and thus was elsewhere when the pirates killed the few survivors. Stranded with no friends or family in a foreign land she began to make the most of her situation.

Picked up by a patrol of horsemen from a nearby city she was taken in by them, fed and looked after. In return for their hospitality she worked as a servant in the barracks. For almost two years she endured the work until her life took a path few women ever saw. The city became besieged by a large force of desert raiders and everyone old enough and strong enough to wield a weapon was called up. Jayna learned the bow and became an archer picking off soldiers from the outer wall. She was granted a chance to prove her worth in close combat when ladders were brought forward. Fighting off the raiders with only a buckler and short sword, Jayna was amazed that she was surviving the onslaught even when the city burned around her.

Having proved herself in combat Jayna was recruited into the full army starting from an ordinary soldier but the war saw her show her superiors that she was no ordinary female archer moving from soldier to officer and finally granted a royal commission as a knight errant, during the final days of the war, Jayna now only eighteen was made a Knight of the Royal House and given significant prestige inside the court of the king along with the title of Knight of the Rose. Favoured by many nobles for her strong loyalty to fighting the good fight and upholding justice she was one of a hundred knights of royal guardsmen selected to return to Abertawe with the king's brother, Lord Kaelan to establish diplomatic relations with the homeland of one of the kingdom's most well known knights.

Returning to Abertawe, Jayna returned a figurehead to the women who dreamed of a life outside the kitchen.

Personality Profile:
Jayna is easily looked upon and considered a noble woman who acts as a noblewoman should when indeed she is far from it. She acts like a soldier and is readily able to fire back compliments any man fires at her in an attempt to lure her to their bed. Though seemingly serious Jayna is not without a lighter side enjoying many things the soldier world has to offer.

Physical Profile: Her several years of warfare have done little to damage her beauty. While having the stature of a warrior and the fitness of a message runner she does maintain her woman appearance with long blonde hair. Maintaining a calm but serious appearance, Jayna is not a traditionalist noble lady who giggles with friends at the men of the court or acts in any way like a spoiled brat. One notable feature is that Jayna has the words, Glory, Honour, Duty, Victory tattooed on her back as a sign that she will uphold those virtues for all her life.
