Background:
Isa was born in Saxony, to Tegn Waltor and his wife Gudrun. As a younger son Waltor had little chance of making his fame and wealth in saxony so he joined a band of roving youngsters who went to win land on Dinas Dwr. Waltor was a great warrior and soon he had many manors for himself. He let his wife and children come to the new land when it was safer.
The only troublesome neighbor was the kingdom of Abertawe which superb army was led by the young warlord Iorwerth. Isa was an enterprising young woman. She loved this new land and had already learnt it's language and culture. On one of her roving trips she fell into the hands of one of Iorwerth's scouts who brought her to his lord. Iorwerth took an instand liking to the young woman and they were married one year later.
Isa loves her new land and family. She gets along well with Wyn and she is more often at court then her husband. Since Wyn's queen died she often acts as his female hostess when he is entertaining high guests. So it was easy for her asfter Wyn's death to step into the position of queen mother for her son. She is a great help to Hawk as she is a very skilled politician, and can charm people easily as well.
Isa is a devoted mother. And it is hard for her to adapt to the local ways of having children fostered about at an early age. She misses them all greatly.

Unlike her husband Isa is a shrewd politician and a great help to the king. She is a devoted mother and wife and an even more dangerous enemy then her husband.
Physical Profile:
Tall for a woman. She has long blond hair which is rare amongst the people of Abertawe. She has bright blue eyes. Even in her early forties she is still a strikingly beautifull woman and has a charm that makes her the perfect hostess
