Background:
Born to royalty and raised to a strict moral and personal code. He is gracious and kind to most, but ruthlessly pragmatic when fulfilling his obligations. He was raised to respect women for both their beauty as well as their potential politically and the rare few warrior women. He was taught by the most learned men his father could buy. He was taught war and politics. How best to hold a sword and all the things that a warrior must know to survive either alone in the wilderness or in the heat of battle.
As he grew he showed his valor by aiding his older brother and father in campaigns and soon made a name for himself. By the age of 17 he was fighting alongside the great warriors of Nevenhyr. He was taught more and more as he grew older and gained great experience along with the knowledge. The greatest enemy of the Nevenhyr people were raiders coming into the land and it was Gawain was the one who developed the most effective method for dealing with the raiders. The plan was really quite simple, the raiders always came from the northwest, so instead of waiting for the raiders to attack the attack was taken to them. The raiders had no anticipated such a move and were overtaken and nearly wiped out.
This made his fame spread far and wide. His name for battle is what aided him with politics, his reputation for offering peace to any who surrendered and daring moves would inspire fear easily enough. This allowed him to strike hard bargains easier then petty men who spoke only words. He was known as a man of action. This inspired peace and prosperity within Nevenhyr and the provinces to the north and west. His success within their area led to his assignment to Abertawe, where he would serve as a long-term ambassador to Alban and hopefully bring about such prosperity that the isle north would either seek to join in an alliance or shrink back in fear.
He was also unmarried, although there had been many he had not yet found the woman whose heart might beat with his own. Although he was known for war and for the terror he inspired with his enemies, he was always kind and generous with his friends. Very few saw this side of him, but a number did, such as his father and a childhood friend. Even a few of his generals had earned this trust. It was given willingly, but retracted quickly if he thought they were uninterested.

A man known for his boldness in battle and his ambition of spreading Nevenhyr's influence either through politics or reputation or going to war. He is also a man known for his honesty, which only helps his efforts in politics. He's a strict follower of the Druidic faith, so much so he views it as part of his duty to slay every One God member he can. Chivalrous and kind to all who are friends or potential friends.
Physical Profile: A larger then typical man, brown hair and blue eyes. Imposing figure, but capable of great gentleness.

Kingdom Backround: Nevenhyr, Capital is Nudd. Religions present, strictly Druidic. They go to the extreme of killing any of the one God they find. They stayed out of the war only because they had small skirmishes breaking out along their own borders. The King is liked, but it is believed there are men in his Kingdom who are him betters.
