Background:
The daughter of a tribal chieftain from the tribes of Barbarians as everyone refers to them, Jade was not given the upbringing that most women were given. She was the daughter of a chieftain and was quick to show that she wasn't like any other lady in her tribal village. Daegren was careful to keep what her daughter did to be limited making sure she didn't ruin her rare beauty. At a young age Jade was taught how to survive from the land and how to worship the gods.

After learning the skills of survival, the village warriors taught Jade how to track animals and then humans. Jade was given special treatment because she was the daughter of Daegren. The wild horses that roamed the barbarian lands were wild and only someone who could match their attitude could master riding them. Jade fell from one of these horses countless times before she managed to ride one and tame it.

Finally Jade was taught how to fight, first without weapons. She learned to use her strength to gain an advantage and to move with speed, few Barbarians moved with speed relying on their strength and weapon skills to succeed in combat, for Jade it was like dancing as she practiced the art of fighting unarmed. Her final lesson was to learn how to use a weapon of her choosing. Sword, axe, club or bow. Jade was a fierce warrior choosing a special type of sword called the falcata. With this weapon she trained constantly starting with one and then amazingly using two falcatas. But Daegren was unsure of sending his only child into the wild to fight with the other warriors, the wild had dangers unseen by many of the inhabitants of the small village. Her day of proving herself a capable warrior came when the wild barbarians attacked the village killing many people. Jade fought alongside her father with utter fury and savagery. At the end of the day she sheathed her swords and praised the gods for victory.

It was rare that Jade saw combat in the village, she did her part to ensure its survival but in the end she desired to travel south to the lands few of her kind visited. Taking her horse Jade bid farewell to her people and rode south looking for a new life to start. Jade dedicated herself to helping the weak who could not defend themselves. For a year she stayed in one area helping to rid a town of bandits that acted like they were in charge.

Travelling further south Jade came to Alban where at first she didn't fit in and dealt lethal justice to several criminals that preyed upon the citizens. Arrested numerous times, Jade found that she was better off outside the walls of Alban and sought to build her own home in the forest nearby. The traditional home she stayed in venturing into Alban occasionally but mostly keeping an eye on the road that merchants travelled and making sure they were clear of bandits.

Personality Profile:
Though she is from the northern barbarian tribes, Jade is far from being as savage and merciless as the tales describe her people. She is a warrior in her heart and a vicious fighter but she is not a motionless killer. Willing to put her life on the line to defend anyone who can not defend themselves. An intelligent young girl though Jade may seem primitive in the way she lives. She is mostly a nice person so long as the person she is dealing with is the same. Her harsh attitude keeps men away from her and keeps her alive in a harsh place. She eats only what she hunts and gathers unless being the guest of another, Jade will also bathe in a river or lake rather than an actual tub.

Physical Profile: Jade has reddish brown hair that comes down to her shoulders, it is always kept loose and out of her face. She has green eyes that shine like emeralds and were what gave her the name Jade. A slim girl she is quite strong and extremely fit. Jade is hardly ever seen wearing a dress preferring her warrior outfit given to her when she was training. She wears no armour apart from this outfit that offers little protection but maximum movement. Jade walks barefoot everywhere she goes and will only wear boots when the terrain is covered in sharp rocks. Jade has a necklace that her father gave her when she left the village. Jade has her falcatas on her left and right side around her hips. These are the only weapons she carries.

Skills and Abilities: Falcata
Jade is trained only with the weapons of her choosing, wielding one or both of her falcatas in combat. She is extremely fast in movement which she applies with her skill with her blades in combat. Jade's unarmed combat abilities are also good so she can stand her ground against a man if unarmed. A good horse rider, Jade can also track very well and is a capable hunter. She is a survivor.

Special Notes:
Jade is devoted to the gods, particularly Danu, Nemhain, Cocidius and Daghda. To show her loyalty to the gods she will light a bonfire once every three weeks and dance naked around it while shouting worships to them. While definitely not a virgin, Jade doesn't easily give herself to a man.
